Legal Aid BC’s Navigators are here to help you.
Our navigators guide clients through the legal aid process and connect you with services and supports.
If you have a legal aid lawyer, a navigator may be able to provide you with extra support.
Navigators can:
- Connect you to community supports
- Find specialized support services to help you
- Put you in touch with an interpreter or a translator
- Answer questions about legal aid
- Provide you with practical support
- Communicate with your lawyer
- Assist with your appointments
- Follow up with you
Navigators can’t:
- Give you legal advice or interpret the law for you
- Represent you or advocate for you in court
- Assist anyone with a conflict of interest in your case
