Legal Aid BC’s Navigators are here to help you.

Our navigators guide clients through the legal aid process and connect you with services and supports.

If you have a legal aid lawyer, a navigator may be able to provide you with extra support.

Navigators can:

  • Connect you to community supports
  • Find specialized support services to help you
  • Put you in touch with an interpreter or a translator
  • Answer questions about legal aid
  • Provide you with practical support
  • Communicate with your lawyer
  • Assist with your appointments
  • Follow up with you

Navigators can’t:

  • Give you legal advice or interpret the law for you
  • Represent you or advocate for you in court
  • Assist anyone with a conflict of interest in your case
