Has a social worker contacted you about your children?
This poster (11″ x 17″) promotes and describes the Parents Legal Centre (PLC), a free service to help parents address the social worker’s concerns. Describes the kind of help you can get from a lawyer and an advocate, and how to find out if you qualify.
PLCs are located in ten communities: Campbell River, Duncan, Kamloops, Prince George, Smithers, Surrey, Vancouver, Victoria, and Williams Lake.
The information we provide on this site explains the law in general and isn’t intended to be used as legal advice for specific legal problems. Because each person’s legal issue is different, it’s a good idea to talk to a lawyer. See Where can I get legal advice? to find legal services.
